Welcome to Kirktown Garden Centre & Restaurant. We are a family owned independent business located in Stonehaven, only 15 miles south of Aberdeen.  If it’s gardening, good food, good living or some time out you’re after, our highly knowledgeable staff are always on hand to help you. We are a relaxing & enjoyable destination for shopping & dining.
 
Delivery Service
 
We offer a local delivery service if the item (s) you have chosen are too big or heavy to fit into your car, please ask in store for costs. 
 
Carry to Car Service
 
Don’t struggle with heavy or awkward items.  Our staff are happy to assist you to load your car.  Just ask a member of our checkout team and they will arrange for someone to help.
 
Our Environmental Policy
 
Our team at Kirktown Garden Centre are committed to complying to current environmental legislation.  
  • Waste products are minimised, reused and recycled where possible. We recycle Cardboard, Plastic, Food waste, Glass and Compostable material.
  • We minimise energy usage with all our plants being watered by hand. We have LED low energy lighting throughout and have increased the capacity of our installed Solar Panels to generate our electricity supply. 
  • Our restaurant and food hall produce, along with many of our plants, come from local sources where possible, helping to reduce transportation emissions and helping to support local companies. Our bedding plants are grown in the Carse of Gowrie, honey from Stonehaven 
  • All wood products come from FSC sources including barbeque charcoal. The Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) is an international organisation committed to promoting the responsible management of the world’s forests.
  • Our product ranges are chosen where possible, environmentally friendly with accurate information to all customers to allow them to make the right choices. Look out for our range of Elho pots made from 100% recycled plastic.

FAQs

Yes, we offer our own Kirktown Vouchers which can be purchased in the Garden Centre and redeemed in our Garden Centre or Restaurant. We also have HTA Gift Card that can be purchased in the Garden Centre and redeemed in our Centre and Restaurant as well as most National Garden Centres.

Yes, dogs are permitted in the Garden Centre and Outdoor seated area in the Restaurant – they are excluded from Food hall & Indoor Restaurant. They must be kept on a lead at all times

Yes we have a selection, please ask in store.

We accept bookings for table of 6 or more and this can be done by calling the restaurant on 01569 764343.
